By accessing or using DentNotes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

DentNotes is a clinical note generation tool designed for dental students and graduates. The Service provides templates and structured forms to assist users in creating clinical notes for educational and training purposes. DentNotes is not a medical device and is not intended to replace professional clinical judgement, institutional protocols, or clinical supervision.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, university, and program details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of any clinical notes you generate using the Service. You must not rely solely on the Service for clinical decision-making. All clinical notes should be reviewed and verified against your institution's guidelines and clinical best practices.

5. Educational Purpose

The Service is provided strictly for educational and training purposes. The clinical note templates, guides, and content provided through DentNotes are not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, supervision, or institutional protocols. Users should always defer to their clinical supervisors, university guidelines, and relevant professional standards when making clinical decisions.

6. Subscription and Payments

DentNotes offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of DentNotes and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DentNotes and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, any errors or omissions in clinical notes generated using the Service, any clinical outcomes resulting from reliance on the Service, or any loss of data. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
